How HALO™ Works

Our HALO™ applies tunable non-ablative (1470 nm) and ablative (2940 nm) wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone. The ablative wavelength targets the epidermis (uppermost layer of skin) to precisely vaporize tissue in a controlled manner, addressing textural issues and pore appearance. The non-ablative wavelength targets the dermis (deeper layer of skin) to address deeper sun damage and other pigment issues, as well as stimulate the production of new collagen. The hybridization of both wavelengths promotes ablative-like results with nearly non-ablative-like healing. We can adjust each wavelength independently for precise coverage and depth, customizing your procedure to best achieve your skin goals.
