Meet Nicole Rice
BScN, MScN, NP-PHC
Nicole Rice, NP blends medical knowledge with the values and skills of nursing to provide a unique care perspective for our patients. She is actively involved in both the surgical and non-surgical aspects of our clinic; her bright personality can be found both in the operating room helping Dr. Yazdani, or throughout the clinic performing various treatments.
Nursing since 2013, Nicole has been caring for a range of patients, from those with multi-system traumas, pre- and post-operative care for orthopedic/spinal patients, and years of experience in the operating room. As our nurse practitioner, Nicole leads our minimally invasive vein treatments, performing sclerotherapy to help patients address aesthetic concerns pertaining to small varicose and spider veins.
Beyond treatment, Nicole plays an active role in educating our patients and other health care professionals in the community. Working as a clinical instructor, she has shared her experiences and knowledge to help guide nursing students. Outside of the clinic Nicole is passionate about advocating for access to community programs and sits on the board of directors for a local addictions treatment centre. She is a lifelong learner and continues to take courses to increase her knowledge base and expand her ability to serve our clients.
